FOUND IN HOUSING WORKS THRIFT STORE

I’d never ventured into one of these stores before yesterday (aside from the bookstore in SoHo) but I found they have lots of little treasures.

Hi duncansing — thanks for commenting. Well, it's the Ballet Russe of Monte Carlo — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballets_Russes — so it's from sometime in the early 20th Century — and that's definitely Sergei Diaghlev (the founder) in the back. I'm not sure who the others are — the smaller guy in the front may be Stravinsky? Or Picasso… I'd only ever seen posters or advertisements so I found this sketch of the founders interesting.

No, Philip I didn't buy it — yet, at least. Trying to be good and save money :)
