After spending many years in New York working as a criminal appeals attorney, followed by a brief stint in L.A., I returned to my native Arizona, to focus on writing. I write women’s fiction, romance, and am working on a mystery series.

While working as a lawyer, I started ballroom dancing as a hobby, and fell completely in love with it. For several years, I wrote a dance blog, Swan Lake Samba Girl, journaling my trials and tribulations learning to dance, and reviewing dance performances in NYC. The blog received accolades from James Wolcott on his Vanity Fair blog, and Terry Teachout of the Wall Street Journal, among others.

My first novel, Swallow, a dramedy about a lawyer with the psychosomatic disorder, Globus Hystericus, won gold medals in the Independent Publisher and Living Now Book Awards and was a finalist in the ForeWord Book of the Year and National Indie Excellence Awards.

In 2015 I published a romance trilogy, Fever, and a duet, Sasha, set in the world of competitive ballroom dancing. I am currently working on more books in that series, following characters readers have met in the other books. I expect to release Tremor in late 2018.

I am also working on a mystery series, inspired by the small menagerie of pets I live with, all rescues. One of my dreams is to open a bookstore specializing in books for animal lovers with a cat lounge attached, featuring rescue cats up for adoption. I have recently begun the process of forming that business – My Cat Jeoffry Bookstore and Cat Lounge – and will definitely keep you posted!

When I’m not writing I love traveling, trying new restaurants (I’m a ridiculous foodie and have recently begun to venture into vegan cuisine!), exploring new places to take long walks with my insanely curious rat terrier mix, Sofia, and reading just about anything I can get my hands on!
