DONDE ESTA ROBERTO?

Where is he? I haven’t seen him in anything yet this season (okay, of the whole two performances I’ve seen). Seriously. I wanted to see him yesterday in Symphony in Three Movements (at least) and he was not there. I miss him!

  1. It's a mystery! The other Fairchild was fantastic in Coppelia last night, though. Megan F. certainly didn't dance like someone with a missing brother. Especially in the second act, which was a complete tour de force, with the different dance styles and the entertaining doll act.

  2. Rob was sitting behind us on Friday night and he hadn't shaved for a few days. Not sure why hedidn't dance this week, but I am guessing he will be the Romeo on the telecast. Also he was in the rehearsal footage from Jiri Bubenicek's new ballet, TOCCATA.

In the meantime you can watch him 1,000 times in Kristin's fantastic LIFECASTING video.

Haha, thanks for the comments you guys! It makes me very happy that people are dance-blog-reading on a Sunday afternoon! Thanks for the reminder about those videos, Philip — I keep forgetting! And so exciting about the PBS telecast. Michael, I'm glad you enjoyed Coppelia last night. That's one of my favorite roles for Megan. I know, isn't she perfect in that second act!
