With all the fried food and cadbury bars i’ve been consuming i’m beginning to feel a bit sick. Latin formation teams just competed – china was awesome – it’s gonna be between them and brigham young.

My chrisanne dress!

Sooo jealous – this lucky woman from ukraine won the chrisanne dress i was drooling over! The ballroom gown costumer together with swarovski, the jeweler who makes the stones used to adorn most costumes, had a cocktail party at which participants were entered into a drawing. I didn’t win the dress but did receive a swarovski penant for being one of first 200 to submit an entry form.

My favorite part of english breakfast – tomatoes! I like these fried toasty things too. My last english breakfast this trip. It’s ok – i’m tired and ready for home. My breakfast table companion is a german coach. I was too tired to shower for breakfast and look like crap – would have to be the day she introduces me to her cute male student.

Slow day in ballroom so i spent most of it shopping in pavilion. Buying dance music is serious business! I just bought one latin cd and one dvd of world latin champions performing showdances in tokyo, which they do every year in september. My next trip 🙂

Carmen and bryan watson – world latin champs for ten years and longest in history – announced their retirement tonight after winning again. A lot of tears. Slavik came in third, sergey fifth and max & yulia made finals in two dances placing seventh overall!

For pro latin finals. I bought this seat for my mom who was unable to come. Am a little out of place age-wise here! General dancing on ballroom floor while judges figure out who made finals. Sergey please please!
